Pure Essentials face moisturiser is made from a base of pure certified organic unrefined shea butter. A product that has been known to replace absent intercellular lipids from aging skin leaving a soft and smooth appearance.
A careful selection of ingredients has been chosen to moisturise and hydrate your skin. As we age the production of hyaluronic acid decreases and collagen and elastin fibres weaken. We have included hyaluronic acid in our moisturiser to improve the plumpness of your skin.
Each ingredient has it’s own unique benefit for aging skin.
Rose hydrosol tones the skin for a more youthful, glowing appearance.
Glycerine is known for its humectant properties.
Vit B 3-Known for anti-aging properties.
Allantoin acts as a moisturiser and a keratoplastic cosmetic ingredient that softens the hornified layer of the skin and is a powerful wound healer.
Collodial oatmeal is processed in a way to give it a cationic (positive) charge and fine, regular particle size (The USP specification for Colloidal Oatmeal says that only 3% or less is over 150microns in diameter and only 20% is over 75 microns. Our colloidal oatmeal complies to this regulation) for optimal dispersion and film-forming across the skin.
Oatmeal is an excellent ingredient for products targeting very dry skin. It contains cationic proteins that stick to the skin improving its barrier function. The natural sugars swell due to their excellent ability to bind water and deliver it deep into the cells and the proteins help carry occlusive ingredients into the skin for long term moisturisation.
Evening Primrose Oil – Organic-Extremely useful to help build the immune system due to it’s fatty acid content.
Vege Squalene is an important component of the sebum contributing to skin moisturisation and protection against ultra-violet radiation.
Glyceryl Caprylate is Antimicrobial, skin conditioning, viscosity modifying, naturally Derived preservative system & skin conditioning.
Lactic acid to balance the PH level and to contribute to moisturise the skin.

A combination of pure doTERRA essential oils of Frankincense, Lavender, Geranium, Rose and Helichrysum have been selected for this product. All of these essential oils have their unique skin benefits.
Frankincense has been known since ancient times to be a powerful preserver supporting to rejuvenate the skin.
Lavender has strong anti-bacterial properties and is well known for healing and regenerating skin.
Helichrysum has a strong ability to support skin renewal.
Geranium is known to regenerate tissue and to hydrate and balance the skin.
Rose is the highest in vibration, and benefits skin for it’s antiseptic and astringent properties.
SHELF LIFE & STORAGE
We have tried to keep this product as Natural as possible. As it contains water we have had to add 0.5%- a minimal amount of broad spectrum preservative. We have added Glyceryl Caprylate to enhance the preservative system in this product.
Even with a preservative, this homemade product may eventually spoil as our kitchens are not sterile laboratories, so use up your face cream recommended within 2 months of purchase.
In the event you notice any change in colour, scent, or texture send it back to us and we will replace it. Store in a cool dry place.
